001.   Sebastian's notebook in Episode 9 confirms that the first known date in Metal Family history is May 26th-- the day before his entrance exam for the musical conservatory. Sebastian's notebook in Episode 10 later confirms that the day Sebastian leaves his family is August 14th. This means Sebastian lived his double life for approximately three months.  002.   The newest album featured in the montage during Episode 10 is Twisted Sister's Stay Hungry, which released May 10, 1984.  003.   Attendance to the conservatory requires graduating high school. The conservatory is a form of post-secondary education, comparable to university or college.  004.   Per the comic, Glam sleeps for two days straight after escaping his family, and the band leaves town a short time after (the 'time jumps' are vague, but it's implied to be only a few days after August 16th, the day Glam wakes up). We can safely assume Glam and Ches left their hometown in the fall the year they met.

  005.   Alina answers a question confirming that they have no plans of "going back to when they were 16". You can draw from this that the characters are approximately age 16 in Episode 9 and 10.  006.   In Season 2 Episode 3, Glam encourages Ches to meet him for rehearsal on Wednesday, which he later confirms to have taken place on October 10th.Using that date and examining the approximate time period (the height of Glam Metal, the 1980s), we can approximate that the events of Season 2 Episode 3 take place in October 1990. ✫  007.   Glam gets his first piercing at age 20, which we see in Season 2 episode 3.  008.   Ches is (maybe) a little older than Glam, at most, a year.

  Main Idea One   In Episode 9 and 10, Glam and Ches are around 16 years old (see point 5), and high school graduates (see point 3).  Main Idea Two.   In Season 2 Episode 3, Glam and Ches are, respectively, 20 and 20-21 (see points 7 and 8). The year is 1990 (see point 6).  Main Idea Three   From the above, Ches and Glam likely met in the year 1986.

✫ An argument can be made that this October the 10th is, in fact, October 10th, 1984, but this is relatively unlikely. This would require Ches and Glam to meet within the same month Stay Hungry releases (see point 2), and following Sebastian's departure in August (point 1), make a big enough name for themselves that they are opening for Twisted Sister within the very same year. I doubt that, so we went with the other option.

  001.   As established in the Band Timeline, Glam is age 20 in Season 2 Episode 3 (see Band Timeline point 7).Glam leaves to grab coffee at the end of the episode, directly tying into the events of the music video, which then leads to the events of Season 2 Episode 5. These events take place in quick succession.  002.   Vicky gets her first tattoo at age 17. Vicky is shown to have her only visible tattoo in the music video. (This tattoo is also implied to be connected to Bug).  003.   In the 'present day' in canon, Ches and Glam are around 40 years old, and Vicky is around 37. Anna is 5 years younger than Vicky, making her 32.

  004.   Vicky and Glam have been together for 16 or 17 years.  005.   Dee is 15 (or, at oldest, 16)  006.   Heavy is 13, or newly 14, as of Season 2 Episode 4.  007.   Dee's conception was 'sudden', but he was not unwanted.  008.   The family live in a home nearby to where Pole's (the manager who tried to poach Ches and Glam from the band) office is. Ches drives past the home that later is purchased by Glam and Vicky in Season 2 Episode 5. ✫

✫ Ches lives relatively nearby, as he is a frequent guest of their home. Ches lives in a small apartment above his shop, which the family appears to frequent.

  Main Idea One   Glam and Vicky met when Glam was 20 (see point 1), approximately 20 years ago from 'present day' in canon (see point 3). This means they were 20 and 17 years old, respectively, in the music video.HOWEVER, if you believe Vicky in her QNA (point 4) and subtract that from their 'word-of-God' ages (point 3), they were 23 and 20.  Main Idea Two   Glam and Vicky were together for a year or two before having kids.

  FAMILY DESIGN.   Very early in the series development, the family had three children, including a daughter (pictured in foreground of image 1). The daughter represented the genre of Nu Metal. There was an older son who later became Heavy (pictured in background of image 1) and a younger son who later became Dee (pictured next to the scrapped daughter in image 1 and next to some classmates in image 2).  MUSIC VIDEO.   Dima and Alina specifically began the series with the music video to garner attention with a love story. The process of creating this music video elapsed approximately 4 years from 2014 to 2017, and at one point the entire animatic was scrapped in order to tweak character designs (see image 3).They have also shared the original storyboard on Boosty and stated that originally the overall 'vibe' of the project was much more goofy, with the animatic featuring Glam chasing after Vicky on a tricycle.

  TEARS.   There is, as of writing, at least one confirmed scrapped character. Featured in the fourth image on the far right (to the right of Anna and Bug) is a muscular man with long hair. This character was named Tears, and originally had some sort of role in Season 2 Episode 6. He was cut as the series developed a more serious tone.
